AG* IDEA (Interactive Distance Education Alliance)
Greetings: On behalf of Dr. Sam Pardue, the Interim Associate Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) Academic Programs Office and Dr. John Havlin, the CALS Distance Education Coordinator, we want to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning students. Listed below is information regarding your NC State University account, information on how to access your online course, and contact information.

Your NC State Student Account
New Students
Once you are admitted, enrolled and your information is authenticated throughout all of the systems at NC State University, the Campus Coordinator will send you your:
- Student id numberUnity id code
- Temporary password. Please change your password immediately at Unity Password Change Tool.
- You are automatically given a NC State email address. This is your UnityID-Code@ncsu.edu.
Returning Student(s)
If you are a returning student and can not log in to the system, please contact the computing help desk to reset your password; url: http://help.ncsu.edu/ .
Accessing Your Online Course
The MyPack Portal system is a one-stop "student information" shop. You can find information on grades, view your class schedule, and access the course learning management system.
You can access the MyPack Portal System as a link, https://portal.acs.ncsu.edu ,or you can access it from the NC State homepage, www.ncsu.edu.
You will need your student id number and new password to login to the MyPack Portal system.
Navigational steps to the course learning management system:
----->Click on the "FOR STUDENTS" tab.
----->Click on the "Course Resources" section.
----->Click on the "WolfWare (Vista & Moodle)" option.
----->The course in which you are enrolled should appear.
