NC Cooperative Extension Agriculture Programs Foundation

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Foundation is to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the NC Extension Agriculture Programs by providing private funding and gifts from individuals, corporations, foundations, current and former employees and friends of the Cooperative Extension Service.  The primary focus of the Foundation is to acquire funds that support NC Extension Agriculture Programs on a statewide basis.

Foundation Goals:

The overall goal of the private resource development arm of the NC Cooperative Extension Agriculture Programs Foundation is to creatively provide resources that will enhance the statewide, regional, and county programmatic efforts of NC Cooperative Extension Service. Through innovative gifts of cash, securities, land, and estate plans, the NC Cooperative Extension Agriculture Programs Foundation and the foundations that are placed under its umbrella, endowments have more than doubled in six years, gifts of land are providing unique opportunities for programs, and estate gifts are beginning to endow named county extension directorships and other positions.

The North Carolina Cooperative Extension Agriculture Programs Foundation accepts gifts that support any component of NC Cooperative Extension.
