Over the course of his career, Dean Wynne has been a transformational leader in research, extension, and scholarship, and has helped build the College’s reputation as one of the top and most effectiveland-grant institutions in the country. To honor his life’s work and vision, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences has established the Wynne Fund for Innovation.
The Wynne Fund for Innovation is about our future. Our world faces great challenges related to food security and production, human health and nutrition, economic development and environmental sustainability. If we continue along the current course, in a few decades we simply will be unable to feed the world’s rapidly growing population.
The Wynne Fund for Innovation will leverage and enhance NC State’s expertise in these critical areas by:
