The ribbon was cut, cow's moo'd, and 1000 gallons of milk later we have a new milking center at the N.C. State University's Lake Wheeler Road Field Laboratory.

Over 150 people attended the dedication and tours on Friday November 9th. Guests were invited to tour and go behind the scenes of the Milking Center. The Milking Center will aid in research and teaching in the food and animal science fields, but more importantly for you, it houses 150 cows which can produce over 1000 gallons a day. That means more of that delicious Howling Cow ice cream we all love so much!!

Thanks to all Attendees and Volunteers who attended the dedication and celebration. Thank you also for your continued support of the College!
