Admission Requirements for Entering Freshman

  • Completion of the NC State Application for Admission
  • High School Minimum GPA 2.25
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • One letter of recommendation from a non-family member
  • SAT is not required; ACT is recommended
  • Foreign Language is not required 

Admission Requirements for Transfer Students

  • Completion of the NC State Application for Admission
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • One letter of recomendation from a non-family member.
  • Transcripts from high school and any other colleges.
