The focus of my research is to understand the molecular basis of sensing and adaptation of plant systems to abiotic stresses, especially gravity, light and salt. My team is using genomic, genetic, computational and engineering approaches to identify regulators of transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation of signal transduction in plants. Several of our discoveries have current applications in food, feed and biofuel production.
