University Foundations Gifts Training

As part of the November Business Partners meeting, a guest speaker from University Foundations presented on best practices for receiving gifts. MarketPlace Training Video Now Available

With the Shop the MarketPlace First Initiative taking effect across CALS in October, the CBO offered an in-person training on how to use the MarketPlace. If you were unable to attend the training, you may view the recording here. You may also find additional training resources and video tutorials on purchasing through the MarketPlace on NC State's Materials Management website


Shop the MarketPlace First Initiative: Effective October 9

Image result for marketplace ncsuThe university is now requiring supply purchases less than $250 to be made through NC State's electronic MarketPlace system, whenever possible.  Beginning October 9, The University will seek justification from all CALS purchasers for voucher requests for supply purchases totaling $250 or less. The University expects purchasers to shop MarketPlace first and, barring that, use PCards second to address small dollar supply needs.

CBO Now Offering Biannual Departmental Trainings

The CBO is introducing a series of training sessions to CALS departmental staff interested in learning more about the systems and processes used for business transactions. Each training will be geared specifically towards the needs of our departmental customers and are intended to provide the basics of what you need to know as a customer to ensure business transactions occur more easily and efficiently.
