Introducing CALS Contracts & Grants 20 & 5 Policy
.jpg) A new policy defining the roles of and mutual expectations for PIs and CALS Pre-Award Consultants during the proposal development and submission process will be implemented on February 1. During February, CALS Pre-Award Consultants will work with PIs to transition to the new CALS Contracts & Grants Pre-Award Policy - 20 & 5, which will go into effect on March 1, 2019.

CBO Advice for Purchasing During an Emergency
 In anticipation of Hurricane Florence, the CBO created a one-pager with targeted advice regarding planning for and making purchases during times of emergency. The University and College recognize that individuals within our College/County Extension may need to make immediate purchasing decisions in preparation for and response to the storm. Please take a moment to read the handout and contact your Business Liaison with any questions.

CBO Standard Operating Procedures Now Available
.jpg) Over the course of several months, CBO staff engaged a Roles and Responsibilities Work Group to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) around many of our primary business functions with the intention to document and clarify roles and responsibilities of existing business processes. The SOPs are now available on the CBO website. Additional SOPs for other business functions will continue to be added.
