What we do

  • Design and maintain a multimedia environment in 28 learning spaces, including 17 classrooms, 8 computing labs and 3 conference rooms.
  • Multimedia equipment design and purchasing assistance for CALS Departments.
  • On site lab assistant support for the CALS Student Computing Facilities.
  • Large format printing for CALS classes and Undergraduate Research Symposiums.
  • Faculty and staff training for facilities and equipment use.
  • Development and maintenance of technical information, security alert system, etc. for CALS students.

News

  • The 2009 Fall semester begins August 19th and CALS Academic Technology will use the time over the summer break to ensure that our facilities are in the best of shape!
  • We will begin printing posters for the 2009 Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium in July 2009.
  • Students, faculty and staff using our facilities will notice a change when they return for Fall 2009, as we will be migrating from Novell to Active Directory.
  • The new CALS Large Format Printing Scheduler will be available beginning Summer 2009 and will allow students to register themselves for printing appointments!
