Post-harvest Agriculture Production Summer 2016

During the Summer of 2016, CALS Global Academy delivered a short-term, customized training program on post-harvest agriculture for a group of eight from Moldova. This program gave the fellows a better understanding in the harvest and post-harvest techniques that are used for fruits and vegetables in the United States. One of the primary reasons to expose the group to different techniques and standards is to help the agriculture industry in Moldova evolve with new ideas thus becoming more competitive within the new global markets, and also enhancing domestic food security.
