Biosciences Eastern Central Africa (BecA) Director, Dr. Appolinaire Djikeng, Visits NC State

Dr. Appolinaire Djikeng, Director of Biosciences Eastern Central Africa International Livestock Research Institute (BecA-ILRI) in Kenya, visited NC State for two days in August. During the visit, Dr. Djikeng met with a number of NC State and CALS faculty and staff to discuss and finalize an MOU between the two institutions. Dr. Djikeng also toured the campus with his family, which included a visit to the Howling Cow dairy plant.

Steve Lommel, Dean Linton, Provost Warwick Arden, Appolinaire Djikeng, Vice Provost Bailian Li, David Dixon, José Cisneros, José Ascencio-Ibanez, Jean Ristaino, and Linda Hanley-Bowdoin met in the Chancellor's Conference Room in Holladay Hall to discuss the memorandum of understanding between BecA and NCSU.


Dr. Appolinaire Djikeng and his family met with Gary Cartwright, Director of NCSU's Dairy Enterprise System, and toured the Howling Cow dairy plant.
