         Amber Beseli - Graduate Assistant - alwillis@ncsu.edu

Amber is a graduate student working towards a PhD in Crop Science with a minor in Agricultural Education.  Amber graduated with a Bachelor's of Science and Master's of Science Degree in Agricultural Education.  During her doctoral program she developed a course for the Agricultural Institute titled "Global Issues in Agriculture," which she teaches in spring semesters.  Throughout her university career she participated in several study abroad programs, which helped develop her passion for international work.  Within the International Programs Office, Amber assists in the development and coordination of new initiatives, programs, and trainings for our students, faculty, and international visitors. 


         Mackenah Simmons - Graduate Assistant - mssimmo2@ncsu.edu

Mackenah is a graduate student at NC State working towards a Masters degree in Agricultural Education and Extension. As part of the team, she assists with the development and facilitation of training programs through CALS Global Academy. Mackenah has a background in Animal Science and plans on working as a high school agriculture teacher upon the completion of her program. Mackenah also loves to travel. She has been to Canada and visited the Galapagos Islands In Ecuador and she hopes to add more countries to her list in the future

Sydney is an undergraduate student majoring in International Studies and Horticulture at NC State. As an undergraduate assistant, her main role is to find and upload new articles to AgriFoodGateway and send these articles in a weekly email to agricultural professionals around the world. She enjoys learning about and working with the international guests that visit the office and hopes to continue learning more about international horticulture practices.

Katie is an undergraduate student at Appalachian State University. She's studying Communications and is going for her Bachelors in Public Relations with a minor in Non-Profit Management. Her role in the office is as an undergraduate communications intern where she is responsible for the generation of promotional content for CALS International Programs and the management of its social media. She looks forward to working with CALS International Programs remotely from Boone while continuing her studies at App State.
