Welcome to Career Services for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) at NC State!
CALS is proud of our tradition of preparing a diverse student body to join the workforce. With over 2,300 undergraduate, 900 graduate, and 400 Agricultural Institute students, there is no shortage of talent here. CALS is a storehouse of skills, with study disciplines related to all aspects of agriculture and the life sciences. Our students don't just sit in classrooms and listen to lectures, they get hands-on experience to develop the skills that your company needs.
Whatever your hiring needs — from Agricultural Business Managers or Biological Engineers to Food Scientists, Biochemists or Agronomy experts — look no further than CALS. Our alumni have a history of going on to leadership roles in a variety of industries such as Agriculture, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Healthcare, Environmental Conservation and Food Science.
The CALS Student Services office was established to connect local, national and international employers with the talent pool in CALS, and prepare our students with the tools necessary to excel in their professional lives after college. We have a variety of resources and events that you can use to establish brand recognition, network with future candidates and advertise internships and jobs.
