2013 Application is available below!

Freshmen and sophomores are selected to participate in 2-day formal job shadowing opportunities with successful professionals in career fields related to their majors and interests.  This is a perfect opportunity for students to network, get an inside look into CALS-related career paths, and ask crucial questions.  We’ll help you with your resume, prepare you for the experience, and help you figure out what the next steps are.

Shadowing will occur during the month of March; specific dates will be determined by each mentor and mentee.

Steps to becoming a Career Fellow:
1.  Students need to complete the application and email it to Melissa Kahn at mkahn@ncsu.edu.  Applications will be due on
January 23rd, 2013 at 5:00pm.

2.  After submitting your application you need to call CALS Career Services at 919-515-3249 to schedule your interview.  Interviews will take place January 22 - 29, 2013.  During the interview we will discuss your career plans & why you want to be a part of the program.  You should be prepared to dress in business casual attire, arrive a few minutes early, and bring a copy of your resume with you.
