YOUNG PROFESSIONALS: GOING BEYOND THE PAYCHECK
 


Tuesday August 4, 2009                6:00-7:30pm               BTEC  facility on Centennial Campus


CALS Career Services and the Alumni & Friends Society will host a networking and professional development event.  This event is FREE and open to all CALS alumni and friends of the college!   You will have the opportunity to network and learn from your peers and those who have been in your shoes.  Sign up to participate in 2 break-out sessions where you'll share challenges and solutions surrounding issues that many young professionals face.

Break-Out Session Topics Will Include:
* Finding Work-Life Balance, Led by Rosemary Sifford, USDA
* Managing Your Career: Goal Setting & Work Relationships, Led by Sen. David Rouzer
* Leadership & Becoming a Manager, Led by Adam Lytch, L&M Companies
* Ethics in Today's Workplace, Led by Mark Fleming, BlueCross BlueShield of NC

There will also be plenty of mix and mingle time!
