Getting to McKimmon
The McKimmon Center is located on the corner of Gorman Street and Western Boulevard. The phsyical address is 1101 Gorman Street, Raleigh, NC 27606.

From I-40 traveling east from the airport:

Take Gorman Street Exit #295.
Turn left onto Gorman Street.
Go approximately 1 mile.
McKimmon Center is on the right past Avent Ferry Road, before Western Boulevard.


From I-40 traveling west:
Take Gorman Street Exit #295.
Turn right onto Gorman Street.
Go approximately 1 mile.
McKimmon Center is on the right past Avent Ferry Road, before Western Boulevard.


From main campus parking decks:
Dan Allen
From the deck turn left onto Dan Allen, then left again onto Hillsborough street. Then left on Gorman Street. At the second stop light you should be at the intersection of Gorman and Western Blvd. Continue on Gorman and take the first left. The McKimmon Center is at the top of the hill above the parking lot.

Reynolds Coliseum
From the deck turn right onto Cates Ave. At the light, turn left onto Morrill Drive. Then turn right onto Western Blvd. Turn left onto Varsity Drive and take the first right. Go around the building to find the visitor parking area.

West
From the deck turn left onto Varsity Drive. At the light, continue on Varsity and take the first right. Go around the building to find visitor parking.

Parking
Parking in the front lots of the McKimmon Center is free and usually plentiful. There are three smaller parking lots on each side of the Center that are reserved for University employees. Visitors are asked to park in designated visitor parking spaces in order to avoid ticketing.

Wolfline Bus Routes

If you are a student on main or centennial campus and traveing to the McKimmon Center via the University Wolfline, it is suggested that you take the Varsity Route, which runs on a 15 minute frequency. For more information about the Wolfline Bus Routes, click here.


Shuttle Service
A shuttle bus will be picking up students outside of Pullen Hall and driving directly to the front door of the McKimmon Center. The bus will run from 12 noon until 4:30 pm and is free to all students. This will be a short bus that holds about 20 people on one trip. There will be signs indicating the bus stop and it is first come first served.

Reverse Fair

On Feb. 10th, CALS Clubs & Organizations are invited to attend the very first Reverse Fair. Each club will send several members to mingle with company representatives and highlight the club's activities & accomplishments. Impressing the Recruiters
Career Fairs can be overwhelming if you don't know what to expect. Be sure to attend one of our preparation workshops to learn more about the companies who will be there, what to wear, and how to make a good impression:

  • Feb. 6th in Daniels Rm 218 4:30pm-5:30pm
Resume Marathon
Don't miss this great opportunity to have your resume critiqued by a professional. Just stop by Patterson Hall Rm 107 between 8am-noon and 1pm-5pm on the days listed below, no appointment necessary.
