Dr. Lisa Guion College of Agriculture and Life Sciences NCSU Campus Box 7601 Patterson Hall 104 Raleigh, NC 27695 Phone: 919-513-0489 Fax: 919-515-6980 As Interim Assistant Dean for Diversity for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (College or CALS), Dr. Lisa A. Guion provides overall leadership and coordination for all diversity efforts of the College. She is leading the development of a strategic plan for diversity. She also directs the CALS Diversity Initiative that entails the design, implementation and evaluation of programs, projects, and/or activities to enhance the overall organizational climate and increase diversity among students, faculty and staff. She chairs a CALS Diversity Council consisting of administrators and faculty within the College who assist in formulating and implementing diversity plans. To foster collaboration around diversity issues, she maintains existing relationships and builds new partnerships with entities within the College and university as well as with external stakeholders. She also develops publications and communications that provide information, resources and tools to promote diversity within the College.
