Goals
The goals of the Diversity Council are to:
- Educate other members of CALS about the philosophy of creating excellence through inclusiveness.
- Foster a climate that promotes a better understanding of, and an appreciation for, diversity within their sphere of influence and encourage others in CALS to do the same.
- Advocate for and promote an increase in the presence of faculty, staff and students from historically underrepresented groups within CALS.
- Advance the development of programs within CALS that aid in the recruitment, retention, productivity and success of faculty, staff and students from historically underrepresented groups.
