Fall Semester
- Continue development of your Health PAC Portfolio – expand on previous and develop new activities.
- Explore opportunities for leadership and development roles.
- Investigate available medically related clinical or research activities as well as service activities.
- Continue gaining healthcare/clinical experience.
- Participate actively in service organizations and campus activities.
- Begin planning summer activities and explore program deadlines.
- Continue meeting with faculty. Check in with academic advisor.
- Learn about current health care issues such as health care reform, managed care systems, medical ethics and other important and current issues relevant to medicine.
- Successfully complete third-semester required premedical coursework and other degree requirements.
Spring Semester
- Check in with pre-health advisor and participate in pre-health activities.
- Participate in clinical or research activities.
- Identify and confirm summer related opportunities.
- Continue to learn about current health care issues such as health care reform, managed care systems, medical ethics and other important and current issues relevant to medicine.
- Successfully complete fourth-semester required premedical coursework and other degree requirements.
Summer
- Complete summer medically related experience, research or other unique experiences.
- Attend summer school, if desired or necessary.
