NCSU began the Graduate Research Research Symposium in 2006, to showcase the outstanding quality and diversity of graduate-level research at NC State, and to give students practice in communicating their results with those outside their own disciplines. The symposium is also designed to demonstrate to state decision-makers the importance of graduate level research. NCSU faculty evaluate abstracts submitted to the Symposium, and the best of those accepted win an award. This year, 41 CALS graduate students from 15 departments participated. |
