PROPOSAL PROCESSING GUIDELINES:

Since 2009, it has been policy of CALS Contracts and Grants Proposal Processing unit that COMPLETED PROPOSALS (including technical narrative, budgets, subcontractor documents, letters of support, and any other attachments) be routed via PINS to the College-level no fewer than 5 business days in advance of the due date to the sponsoring agency.

This policy aims to:

• Provide our staff adequate time to review and process each proposal thoroughly even during peak workloads; and
• Allow time to accommodate technical issues with sponsor submissions portals that are beyond our control.

In fairness to investigators who submit proposals in a timely fashion, we will not prioritize those seeking "RUSH" review and processing.
