CD-Roms
CALS Communication Services. "One of the most cost-effective ways to distribute interactive multimedia programs and other large computer-based programs is with CD-ROMs. Our team can work with you to develop the CD-ROM and produce a Beta-version on CD-ROM. We will then work with outside vendors to press the CD-ROMs in the quantities you need. Cost estimates can be provided based on specific project needs."
Digital Video
"The [NCSU Libraries] Digital Media Lab provides the means for converting analog video to digital video, as well as creating digital video clips."
DELTA Video Communications. "Field shooting allows for videotaping in remote locations. Utilizing the DVCPRO or mini DV recording formats, video can be shot in various remote locations and then edited together into a finished program."

Large Format Poster Printing
CALS Academic and Administrative Technology (CAAT) provides large format HP DesignJet 1055CM color printers for CALS student use by appointment in 1400 Williams Hall. The printers are set up for the creation of posters with 36” wide coated or high gloss photo paper. Faculty should use departmental printers or other fee-based printers whenever possible. There will be a charge for faculty use ($15-25 per print), and a completed IDT must be submitted at the time of the print.
Photography
CALS Communication Services. "Our staff of professional photographers provide high quality location and studio photography services for NC State University faculty and staff. We will be happy to work with you to schedule photography assignments and create high quality images for use in publications, newsletters, exhibits, promotional materials, etc."
Scanning
CALS Communication Services. "The multimedia team offers a wide-range of image scanning services. We can produce scans up to 300 dpi from your color or black-and-white slides, 35mm negatives or prints. Scanned images can be saved in a number of popular formats including TIFF, GIF, JPEG, CGM, BMP and others. Scanned images can then be manipulated through PhotoShop to provide color correction, retouching, cropping, etc."

Slide/Tape Presentations
CALS Communication Services. "The multimedia team is available to help with the production of slide/tape presentations. Billing and turnaround time vary considerably depending on the complexity of your request."
Slides/Overheads
CALS Communication Services. "Our staff will work with you to create dynamic, full-color slides and overhead transparencies so that they will effectively communicate your message. If you prefer to create your own slides or overhead transparencies, we can image them for you. Just bring us your slide files on disk or e-mail them to us."
Web Page Templates
