MGP Partners

Our regional and global partners provide opportunities for students and faculty to engage in real-world problem solving and innovative collaborations.  Starting on campus, the diverse colleges that make up NC State University provide different perspectives, learning opportunities, and creative research initiatives.  Research in the MGP is funded by state, federal and private research entities that allow us to leverage our expertise in microbiology at a major research university to address global issues impacting human health, the environment, energy and food production and safety.  Through funding opportunities, student internships, adjunct faculty appointments and a variety of collaborative interactions, we invite interested individuals and organizations to consider partnerships that will enhance the mission of the MGP for applications and discoveries in microbiology.
