Each department has a CALS Business Operations staff member contact for hiring temporary biweekly employees.  Please locate your department below.  The contact can answer any questions you may have and will be the person all forms are to be sent to in order to hire a temporary biweekly employee.

No employee can begin working until ALL forms have been completed and the background check and I9 have been cleared.  If you are unsure please contact your CALS representative above.

All employees require a Hire Form to be filled out by the hiring supervisor and be sent over to their representative in CALS Business Center. 

All non student/non retiree positions will require a
Non UTS Vacancy Posting Form to be filled out.  The job will be posted on the NCSU website for a minimum of 5 days.

If an employee does not complete the appropriate federal and state tax withholding certificates, taxes will be calculated in the basis of marital status = single with zero personal allowances claimed.  To claim something other than single with zero allowances, complete these forms:

Note to Foreign Nationals - Do not complete these tax forms.  Instead, email the International Tax office to make an appointment to discuss your tax situation.

All individuals paid through the NC State University's payroll system must particiapate in the Direct Deposit program.
