  • Imagine No Hunger - Year Round - Feed Homeless Community in Moore Square Each Sunday (IG sponsoring - Pre-Med)  PLEASE NO DONATIONS NOW - SUPPORT INSTEAD HEARTS WITH HAITI WITH A $10 DONATION TO SPONSOR THE CHILDREN WE WORK WITH THROUGH ST. JOSEPHS OR OAK HOLLOW/STAR
             -  INH packages and distrubutes lunches to the homeless community of Moore Square each Sunday
             -  Donate at least once per semester to support our project - two ways to donate
             -  (1)  Monetary Donatations - $10 Cash or checks made out to NCSU Pre-Health Club
                     (used to purchase food for lunches)
             -  (2)  Food Donations - 50 individually packaged items -
                         chips, desserts, fruit snacks (no crackers or granola bars needed at this time)
                              OR
                         50 slices of bologna or non-individually wrapped cheeses,
                         You may also donate 8 loaves of bread for one point as well
                           (sign up in Health PAC office for a week to donate bread - turn in on Friday ONLY - YOU MUST SIGN UP FOR A WEEK TO DONATE IN ADVANCE OF DONATION)
             -  Once you have donated TWICE in a semester -
                     You may sign up to help package and distribute lunches on Sunday

    Remember - bring items to Health PAC office - make sure you have your name on the bag of items and sign in your donation

  • Hearts With HaitI - SEPT SPECIAL PROMO - PAY $20 INSTEAD OF $15 WITH DUES AND $5 WILL GO TOWARD SPONSORING A CHILD AND ONE PHC POINT (INSTEAD OF USUAL $10) - IF ALREADY PAID DUES CAN STILL TURN IN $5 AND NOTE DUES PAID ON ENVELOPE - MAKE CHECKS OUT TO NCSU PHC

    (Donate to help sponsor a child or rebuilding or volunteer in local office)Office volunteers receive one Pre-Health Club point for every two hours volunteered in the Hearts With Haiti Office at West Raleigh Presbyterian Church off of Hillsborough Street.   Pre-Health Club points may also be earned by donating  to the Child Sponsorship Program.  Each $10 donation will receive one Pre-Health Club Point.  Please place donations in an envelope with your name, student ID number, and HWH Child Sponsorship on the envelope.  For more information about Hearts With Haiti or volunteering please contact the coordinators, Brandon Williams btwilli2@ncsu.edu, Sid Gandra sgandra@ncsu.edu, or Katie Smith klsmit12@ncsu.edu or Austin Flick acflick2@ncsu.edu.
     
  • Oak Hollow Project - Year Round - Monthly events for 10 Former Homeless Families OR women in the Battered Women's shelter (IG Sponsoring - Pre-Med)

  • Bingo -
    Come out and help out our favorite seniors with Bingo for Elderly at Morningside Retirement Home on Saturday Mornings. 
    1 POINT for each week you participate
    1 POINT for donating $10 to sponsor game prizes if necessary. 
    We can arrange transportation upon request!

  • Science Saturdays -
    Science Saturdays is a program through the Raleigh Boys and Girls Club that aims to provide science based lessons one Saturday per month to elementary age students. Pre-Health Club members may volunteer to teach a lesson for a PHC point one time per semester. Two students typically pair up to provide a lesson for one Saturday - they plan a lesson and activity and then present it at the club on their Saturday.
