Majors That Matter

Pick the one that is the best fit for you!

With the current projections of the world population to exceed 9 billion by 2050, agriculture becomes even more important.  How could we eat three times a day without it? That is why the Agricultural Institute offers programs that give students hands-on experiences that they can take with them into the Agricultural Industry.  Students are able to chose from six different degree programs and five concentrations.  Whether you are interested in working with animals, working on a golf course, growing crops, or starting your own business. The AGI truly offers something for everyone interested in going into the Agricultural field.

The Agricultural Institute has great faculty in all of the degree programs that are always there to help.  By clicking on the different major links below you are able to explore what the major is all about, view a semester by semester plan of your classes, and learn a little more about the faculty.  All of these majors offer endless opportunities after graduation but it is important to explore them to see what is the best fit for you! Students work with turkey's at the Turkey unit off Lake Wheeler road.
