Dr. Fellner is a ruminant nutritionist with a focus on microbial ecology and energetics of fermentation. His work has focused on manipulating microbial ecology to enhance nutrient use, minimize nutrient waste and lessen the negative impact on the environment. He has presented at international conferences, and served on teams traveling overseas to evaluate academic and research opportunities for global sustainable development.
