Outstanding Graduate Instructor AwardOverview
The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences awards an Outstanding Graduate Instructor Award annually. The award recognizes teaching excellence by graduate faculty in the College. Criteria for selection will include evidence of teaching effectiveness, academic scholarship, dedication, and enthusiasm for professional development.
Nominees must be CALS instructors and must have taught at least two semesters at NC State University.
Nomination and Selection
Nomination forms can be found here. Please follow all instructions on the first page of the nomination paperwork.
Nominations should be submitted in pdf format to Robin Clements (email@example.com) no later than March 7th, 2016 at 5:00 PM.
Selection of award recipients will be completed by the CALS Graduate Studies Committee.
One cash award of $500 will be presented to the recipient at the CALS Celebration of Teaching Awards Banquet in the spring, and recipients will also be invited to attend the Gamma Sigma Delta banquet in the spring.
