Research Awards
 

CALS Outstanding Research Awards recognize and reward one faculty member or postdoctoral fellow and one graduate or undergraduate student pursuing novel research in the area of agriculture and life sciences. The competition, administered by the North Carolina Agricultural & Life Sciences Research Foundation, celebrates the ingenuity and innovation of CALS scientists and provides financial support for the awardees' research programs. 

The Outstanding Faculty Research Award is offered to any CALS faculty member or postdoctoral fellow, and the Outstanding Student Research Award is offered to a graduate or undergraduate student pursuing research in the college.
